Who We Are
DayDream Photography was established in 2004 by our lead photographer, Landon Day. We do more than just take great photos; we’re about capturing priceless moments and turning them into masterpieces—because who wouldn’t want their epic fails and goofy grins immortalized in fine art?
Landon is not just a guy with a camera. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Art from Hardin Simmons University, is a Certified Professional Photographer, and has earned advanced degrees in his field including a Photographic Craftsman Degree in 2016 and a Master Photography degree in 2019... to be nerdy his name in professional circles is Landon Day M.Photog.Cr.CPP
Landon's commitment to the photography industry is displayed by his role as a renowned speaker and trainer. He has shared his knowledge at numerous events across cities such as Atlanta, Orlando, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles as a platform speaker helping other photographers further their skills.
Katharine is Landon’s Left-Handed Right Hand.
Alabama native and coffee addict. Katharine is a Certified Professional Photographer and licensed drone pilot. She has gone from teacher of the year as an educator to full time photographer and is currently pursuing her Master Photography degree.
Katharine runs DayDream while being nice and letting Landon think he is in charge. If you need something photographed or a question answered don't be fooled she's the man... woman.
Our studio is located at 118 N Main St in a historic 1890 building featuring beautiful exposed brick walls in downtown Mansfield, TX. We welcome visits, but please call or text us at 817-983-1203 to ensure we are available.

What We Do
Portraits
We do them... and are dang good at what we do. From families and children to high school seniors and even old folk discount movie ticket seniors. In fact, we have won "Best Of" going on 9 consecutive years.
Weddings
We offer a tailored, one-of-a-kind experience for each wedding. We highly limit the number of weddings we take each year to ensure every couple receives the best service possible. While we primarily serve the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, we have also captured weddings in cities across the country.
Commercial
From smaller product or model sessions in studio to being on full blown crews we have our hands in every situation. You may recognize brands like Mary Kay, Williams-Sonoma, Crate & Barrel or Pottery Barn just to name drop a few... we have even modeled in several of the jobs as well so we understand all aspects.
Headshot/Branding
We know putting your best foot... face... forward is key. From business or branding to a new Tinder profile, putting yourself out there can be intimidating. We have the skill set and equipment to make this quick and painless.
Real Estate
DayDream now covers almost all of Dallas/Fort Worth, Lubbock and Louisville... yes that one... in Kentucky.
